Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Lock the Clock (“we,” “us”) operates the website at dstbill.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what information is and isn’t collected when you use the Site, and how advertising on the Site works. By using the Site you agree to this policy.
The short version
- We don’t have accounts, logins, or sign-ups.
- The zip code you enter is processed entirely in your browser against a dataset bundled with the page. It is never sent to us or to any server.
- We don’t sell your data. We couldn’t — we don’t collect it.
- The Site shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve those ads, and you can control that (see below).
Information you enter
The Site asks for a zip code so it can look up an approximate location and compute sunrise and sunset times. That lookup happens locally, in your browser, using a location dataset shipped as part of the web page. Your zip code is not transmitted to us or to any third party, and we do not store it.
Information collected automatically
The Site is hosted on Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify’s servers may automatically log standard technical information when you load a page — such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request — for security and reliability. We do not use this information to identify you. See Netlify’s privacy policy for details.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see Google’s partner-sites policy.
Your privacy choices
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent prompt governing whether personalized ads and the associated cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time. Blocking cookies may cause ads to be less relevant but does not affect the Site’s core functionality.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here on this page.
